Today the kids had a trivia. The papers were all passed back, passes given out, and new grades posted. This was all done after the health articles were presented.

Today the kids watched the video on Dick and Rick Hoyt and responded to the journal entry on the same story. The health article is due tomorrow. Grades will hopefully be posted by Friday.

Today the students had a trivia question. They turned in their vocab and had a pop quiz over those vocab words. They then began working on Chapter 7 Chapter review #'s 1-12, writing out or paraphrasing each question for full credit.

Today we finished reading chapter 7 (mental health) in the text. Tomorrow we will work on the chapter review and they will turn in their vocab assignments. They had a JOURNAL ENTRY: Your house catches fire and every living thing gets out safely. You have one chance to go back and get something(s). What do you get and why?

Today we began reading chapter 7 in the text book (covering Mental Health). VOCAB ASSIGNED: PSYCHOSIS, TRAUMATIZE, INHIBITIONS, INSOMNIA, PESSIMIST, OPTIMIST, HABITUAL, ANXIETY, STRESSOR, DISORDER. Words are to be defined and used in a health related sentence if possible. The words are due on Friday.

Today the students were given a trivia question and we went over the remainder of our Mental Health Notes. Tomorrow we will have the vocab assigned that will be due on Friday.

Today the kids presented their health articles. We had gone over some mental health information this week as well. I gave out print outs of the information we went over.
