26-27 October

Yesterday the students were given the opportunity to read and participate in SSR/SSW or work on something conducive to learning for the entire class period. They were also encouraged to complete their health article assignment.
Today-Thursday, we watched an episode of Intervention that dealt with a War Veteran's struggle with alcohol. They did not need to take notes, so the additional normally required health article is not necessary. YOU are reminded that the health Articles are due tomorrow without regard to your status for attendance this week. YOU MUST BE PREPARED TOMORROW to present and turn in your health article. No exceptions! 70% rule in effect as always, and now that we have equipment....I hope you will all do your work.

They are to write out the questions or paraphrase as usual. They also have a health article that is due on Friday. I recieved some sports equipment and am using that as extra incentive for the kids to get the 70% rule met so that they can actually use the equipment when they earn the free time!
