28 April

Today and yesterday the students were in the computer labs working on their papers. They will not be going to the computer labs Friday. They will instead be working on their papers in the classroom and formulating their plans of attack. There was no vocab or health article due this week due to the paper, but next week a health article will be due.

26 April 11

Today the students had a JOURNAL entry that asked if they had someone in their school that could pull the trick that the young lady did in D.C (telling everyone for 6 months that she was pregnant) would they pull off a stunt like that? How would they feel is someone they knew pulled the stunt and what would they do if they could get away with it?
We also went to the computer lab to begin working on their drug research paper. Any topic is available with the exception of Marijuana. We will be going back to the computer lab for the remainder of the week, and the paper is due on Monday.

4/20/11

Today the students had twenty minutes of SSR followed by review of the Drug Unit. They turned in their vocab today as well. Happy Spring Break! And I'll see you NEXT TUESDAY!!!!

18-19 April 11

Yesterday the students took down the drug information from Friday if they had not gotten it down that day. They had a journal entry that asked if they could make any changes to their body once they turned 18 (no parent permission or money) what would they do if anything?
They also worked on their drug worksheet that was turned in at the end of the day if completed.
Today the students had a trivia and were reminded that the vocab is due tomorrow. They also had the first installment of workout Wednesday (on Tuesday) walking two laps and doing two stadiums before returning to class.

14-15 April

Yesterday the students had a JOURNAL ENTRY that asked if you knew you had only hours to live, what would your message be to your family or friends. They also began working on Chapter 23 bookwork #5-14 and RTF 2, 7 and 11. Writing out or paraphrasing each question for full credit.

13 April 11

Today the students presented their health articles and we read section four of chapter 23 today. I also made sure that I had everyone's journals and trivia collected before grading day on Thursday.

12 April

Today the students had a trivia question, and the journal/trivia was collected today as well. We collected the entries from 3-9 to yesterday's entry. Health articles are due tomorrow.

11 April 11

Today the students had a journal entry that they had to complete that said: I wish I could forget the time I ....... because...... (entries are to be on paragraph in length for full credit) Health articles are due this Wednesday. No exceptions NO excuses! We also read the first lesson of Chapter 23 starting on page 586. Papers and passes were passed out and the tests were graded and grades were updated in the computer.
